Ecoxyztem, an Indonesia-based venture builder, has raised an undisclosed sum from TAP Applied Agri Services, Konservasi Hutan Indonesia, and Pegasus Tech Ventures, as well as Medco Foundation chairman Roni Pramaditia.
Founded last year, Ecoxyztem helps startup founders tackle environmental problems by providing them with access to talent, investment, business models, and go-to-market activities.
The firm was initially part of Greeneration Group, an environment-focused foundation that was established in 2005. The group then spun off Ecoxyztem into a separate entity that was co-founded by M. Bijaksana Junerosano, Jonathan Davy, Andreas Pandu Wirawan, and Dicky Ahmad, along with former Gojek engineer Julio Anthony Leonard.
Currently, Ecoxyztem has four portfolio startups: waste management startup Waste4Change, flooding solutions provider ReservoAir, green industry company Ravelware, and energy efficiency firm Enertec. The venture builder plans to use the fresh funding as working capital to develop at least four startups every year.
